Cypress Garden

Pre-Applications are available now for Cypress Garden affordable housing units.
Income requirements are based on an individual's income.
Your income must range between 40-60% BELOW the Area Median Income (AMI).

The Cypress Garden development is located at 11th & Hickory & Cypress.
60 units are being constructed using 9% LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit)
Construction started in November 2022, with occupancy planned for 1Q 2024.

There will be four 2-story garden-style residential buildings with the following:

  • 8 one-bedroom units
  • 44 two-bedroom units
  • 8 three-bedroom units

Monthly rents will be based on the Area Median Income (AMI).
Residents will be selected who are 40% to 60% below the AMI.
Based 40% to 60% below the AMI will allow a range of rents:

  • 1 bed rent range - $455.00 - $683.00
  • 2 bed rent range - $547.00 - $820.00
  • 3 bed rent range - $631.00 - $947.00
