A $2000.00 donation to the kids holiday event was presented at the 2024 Charity Banquet on June 26, 2024 from the Knights of Columbus Council 8074, Punta Gorda, FL.

AHA Staff and Board of Commissioners celebrated Ms. Juanita Lewis-Ross and her 45 years of service to Arcadia Housing. Enjoy photos of the celebration lunch on 5/8/2024 and the Board Meeting Presentation on 5/21/2024.

Construction Progress on Hermosa Arcadia – May 2024. 54% Completed – 100% Completion date is estimated 10/15/2024.

AHA hosted two workshops by Mrs. Hope Cross as she taught valuable skills to help themselves and others grow and change in a positive direction. Hands on activities working with others to create change within.

Home Depot and Staff from the North Port, FL location provided the supplies and instructions for the kids to build their own bird feeder - from start to finish - build, hammer, glue and paint!

AHA hosted the Desoto County Historical Society - Staff from the Society taught the kids how to catch a fish with a cane pole, learn to type on a typewriter, juice an orange by hand, dip a pen into an ink bottle, pump water and participate in a bucket brigade to learn and understand the history of Arcadia and Desoto County.

It was a FARMtastic day at Arcadia Housing Authority yesterday, we had the Animal Fest at AHA - Part of the Suncoast Remake Learning Days.

Our Annual Community Day was held on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 11 AM – 1 PM. Arcadia would like to thank all the Vendors and Agencies that attended.
