STEAM with the Circus Arts Conservatory

Circus, a beautiful art form of movement and skill, also provides great lessons in physical science and engineering. Parents and children will be involved in activities designed to provide interactive, hands-on experiences to reinforce basic concepts in physical science for the elementary student. Engaging students directly and immediately, circus-artists demonstrate principles of science, engineering, art, math, technology, communication, and theater.

Ages: K - Grade 5

Time: 3:30 - 5:30 PM

Exploration Station Shark Science

Mote will be leading 2 hands-on Exploration stations during this event.

FIN-TASTIC FRIENDS - learn the truth about the often-misunderstood sharks and rays and about Mote's current research to discover more about these amazing animals.

TURTLEY TURTLES - How many kinds of sea turtles are there? How long do sea turtles really live? Learn the answers to these questions, feel a turtle skull and shell and even take a peek inside a replica sea turtle nest.
